IBIZA LUXURY PROPERTY DEMAND IS INCREASING

The luxury tourism industry in Ibiza is still flourishing and over the last years, the island has seen a progressive increase in demand for luxury properties. In the past, British investors were leading the way in the Ibiza luxury property market, but lately, with the development of the White Isle as a luxury brand, there is an increasing number of buyers from the US, Asia and the Middle East.

The Ibiza luxury real estate market is booming, driven by the opening of new chic restaurants, high-end design shops and 5-star hotels. This re-development has pushed up the prices and demand for luxury homes. Let’s have a closer look at it:

IBIZA TOWN
In the last years, the centre of town has been re-developed and this will continue until next year with the completion of the Ibiza Port. The area has become highly desirable which has caused a rise in property prices since 2016. A property with an interior of around 350 square metres in a top location can costs up to 4 million euros.

TRENDY SOUTH
Some of the most exclusive residential areas are located in the trendy south and southwest of the island. In terms of style, you can find high end contemporary villas as well as restructured old fincas that keep all their existing charm. Also in these areas the prices for properties have risen sharply since 2016.

SUNSET WEST
The sunset views make Ibiza’s west an attractive place of residence. This area is set to become even more exclusive over the coming years with the development of modern and traditional style new villas.

THE CHARMING NORTH
The north of the island is more bohemian, quieter and it usually attracts couples, families or investors who are seeking a more relaxed lifestyle, compared to the buzzing life in the South. Northern Ibiza appeals mainly to creative people looking for inspiration and city workers who need to recharge and relax with their families.
